Program Highlights

Geography Field Studies

2020欧洲杯首页geography students experience high-impact learning a number of ways, including a two-week intensive field studies course led by faculty through mountain, foothill, and prairie environments in western canada.

2020欧洲杯首页the course introduces students to geographical field observation as they examine the human-environment interactions and adaptations in southern alberta and british columbia.

2020欧洲杯首页students keep a field journal describing and reflecting upon their daily activities. they also participate in teaching by conducting advanced research and delivering presentations at designated locales along the route.

College Names Its First PRODiG Fellow

suny geneseo has named bruno renero-hannan as its first suny prodig fellow (promoting recruitment, opportunity, diversity, inclusion, and growth). he'll serve as a visiting scholar in the anthropology department.

We're 'ALL IN' with Student Voter Registration

2020欧洲杯首页suny geneseo president denise a. battles has joined more than 160 college presidents and chancellors in committing to full student voter registration and participation in all elections through the all in campus democracy challenge.

Chancellor's Graduate Fellows

2020欧洲杯首页bridget pitre ’20 from sayville ny, and kelsey zorn ’20 from leicester, ny were each selected to receive fellowship awards of $5,000. the fellowship is a one-year grant to be used to defray non-tuition expenses such as room, board, textbooks, and other costs of attending a suny institution. both graduates are returning to suny geneseo for their graduate degrees.
